|
Born: 8 February 1944, Chalk Farm, NW London. In 1962 he had a record in the charts with his first band, The Boys. He was the fortunate enough to work with the man who brought bebop to the UK, Ronnie Scott's friend, Dennis Rose, who instilled in him his love of jazz. After having success with his new band, Monopoly, who were the only band to appear on the New Faces finals four times in one tear - 1976 - and where they came third to Roger DeCourcy's first place and Jim Davidson's second, the band went on to perform various showcases with ATV studios. Moving to Mallorca in the 80's, Brian performed with numerous musicians, as well as forming his own band. Then, in 1992 he returned to the UK and was invited to join the illustrious Diamonds, a Bognor Regis based band which has enjoyed great success in the area and beyond for many years. |
